Women Anew 2021

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5b

Dear Friends:

Welcome to the month of May. Prayers for all those who are sneezing and coughing with the allergies. The rest of us rejoice in the beauty of the green on the trees, bushes, and lawns. (Not the weeds) We continue to pray for all of you. Thanking our Lord for you and the times we have had together growing, learning, and loving Him for all He has done for us.

We pray that you are in His Word and are able to connect in prayer one for the other. We can claim His word that promises “The Lord IS my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:6.

We also wanted to remind us that this Thursday is the National Day of Prayer. I know we all agree that we need to be on our faces before our Lord for this nation of ours and the nations of the world.

1. Prayers for our Government leadership, Congress & Senate
2. Prayers for men and women in authority to see and stop the changes trying to take place in our sports world and school curriculum.
3. Prayers for our state and local government.
4. Prayers for our churches and pastors
5. Prayers for your families as they face daily challenges to God’s purpose and leading.

We are still in our office thanks to those of you who have sent us a financial gift. Pray that the Lord will lead us to someone to take or buy our office desk and tables. We will be there through June or as our Lord leads 199 N. Leavitt Rd. Ste 202, Amherst, 44001. Our phone 440-984-3377, web site www.womenanew.org.

Notice:
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions Sawmill Creek will not be available for our event so we’ll be rescheduling for another time.

Dear Friends:
Greetings in this new year of 2021.  Prayers you are all doing well, being safe and continuing to trust our Lord’s purpose in all that is transpiring in your lives during these challenging and changing times.

What a blessing is ours to know that no matter what transpires in our lives, our country, or our world, our Lord never changes, never is surprised, and promises to never leave us or forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5&6 nkj)

The staff continues to seek the Lord’s purpose for us this coming fall.  We were anticipating being able to share together how He has and is working in all our lives.  However, we just received word this past week that Sawmill will NOT be opening in 2021 for conferences.  That means our October 29-31 dates have been cancelled. We would not be honest if we didn’t say that we are truly disappointed.  However, Women Anew has always been for the Lord’s purpose and leading.

We have been truly thankful for those of you who have sent us financial help and we have been able to stay in the office.  We are seeking our Lord’s leading in all of this. We still have enough financial help from you that we will be in our office at least through the month of May which means we will keep our same phone number, email address, and web page.

Now we covet your prayers.  If we are to meet together in the fall, we need another facility, We are concerned as to how many of you would want to meet in overnight accommodations or just a one day meeting with lunch included. This would eliminate those of you who travel from distant areas.  We have no way, at this time, to hold a virtual meeting.  We are concerned as to how many would be able to do so.

As we look to God’s purpose for our future we think of our Lord’s promises in Psalm 37:1-7. (nkj) We need not fret, but trust and delight as we commit and entrust our future, loved ones, homes, and jobs to Him.  Then we can rest assured that He is working for His good and purpose for us as His women. We will keep you informed.

If you want to be a part of an email blast, please send your email address to Ellen at eshel6736@aol.com.  Remember it’s eshel (not a 1).
